Whatever you do! You can't display more than 3 adsense for content units. Similarly no more than 2 Adsense for search boxes can be placed on one page. And so exists a limit for referral ads and so. But more ads simply mean more clutter on your site and makes it more likely that your blog be reported as a Made-For-Adsense blog.
More ads also mean more clutter distracting a user while he's reading your blog. This can potentially result in loss of regular visitors.
